
The Party Wall etc Act requires a building owner to notify and obtain formal agreement from adjoining owner(s) where the building owner proposes to:
Notification and Agreements under the Act are the responsibility of the respective owners and it is essentially a matter of private law, and accordingly generally does not form part of Local Authority Planning/Building Regulation procedures.
Whilst the responsibility under the act is the sole responsibility of the client, the client may wish to instruct The Billington Consultancy to undertake the necessary procedures on their behalf.
